The Swamp

Saturday we were invited to the FL/ Old Miss game with the Alban family.
We left our house around 9 am and returned home a full 12 hours later!
We didn't win the game but we did have a lot of fun, the highlight for mom was the fact that Kirby wore the same pull-up all day without any accidents! Yay Kirb!

A Sunny Day

Today was a beautiful day, not very hot, the perfect day.
Kirby had the day off school and so we asked kristy, dylan and baby tyler if they would like to come to the zoo.

Kirby and dylan loved the playground

We even got to feed the giraffes

Potty training

So, i figured with the broken foot and all, and since we were already stuck sitting around it would be the perfect time to try and start potty training. I don't know if we are ready for this, these pictures were taken on one of our good days, and we have had plenty of good days but, we are now on week three.............ugggghhhh. we're still just a chugging away, hopefully this will get easier.

Sorry Casey

well i guess this post is a bit over due, but things around here have been hectic.... i guess, hectic and a little boring, i finally stopped wearing the dreaded boot and when i downloaded some pics these were on my camera i found these cuties. i can't remember when we took kirby to the suns game but it was his first real sporting event. emsley came along and we had a real great time... until the rain :)

Since then kirby has made a trip to the swamp to watch the gators play, what fun, of course dad took him and didn't take any pics. Sorry.

It has been a while since i last wrote anything about what's going on around here. Unfortunately I am a bad mommy and I didn't take pictures of Kirby's first day of school this year, but school is going well. He loves his teachers and usually doesn't mind being dropped off three mornings a week.
Kirby has moved to a big boy bed! After repeated escapes from the pack and play in the mountains Kirby decided to try and escape from his crib...... of course he is natural climber and was very successful. We have completely removed the crib from his room and done a little rearranging. He is very proud and keeps reminding us that he is a big boy now...... next step big boy pants!
I broke my foot Sunday morning and since have had a little trouble getting around. I don't think Ted knew exactly what he was in store for when they told us it would be 3-4 weeks with a cast. First of all i can't drive so if i want to go anywhere i have to ask my mom, ted or a friend to drive me around/ pick me up. At least i have a walking cast now so ted is not having to follow me around with my drink, magazine, book, etc.

Not much to do the last couple of days, or friend FAY has been making it hard to do anything outside. The first three days of school were canceled so we have had to get a little creative. Yesterday we made sugar cookies, today we watched movies on daddy's laptop because we didn't have any power........ahhh Florida.

Alligator Farm

Yesterday we were so excited that Daddy wanted to join us on an adventure. So we had to make our adventure super special and fun, so we drove down to St. Augustine and went to the alligator farm. As usual it took us twice as long as we had planned to leave the house, and then we accidentally missed our exit..... so when we finally made it to the alligator farm it was practically lunch time. Anyways, we had a great time and then went to eat at one of our favorite places A1A. We had a very fun day.... thanks dad.
