The Jacksonville Fair
Sunday we took kirby to the fair. We hadn't planned on riding on any rides but Kirby found a few that he could ride if daddy went along.
This snake cost us $15, a least kirby likes it....Dad got talked into trying his luck at darts. Talk about "fast talking" we thought we had only spent $5 but this guy was sneaky. So we left with a $15 snake.
Kirby on the Carosel.
The livestock area, after going to the fair for 30 something years i don't think i have ever gone to look at the animals. A little stinky,
but by far the best part of the fair,
free...
and i think the animals may actually be cleaner than the rest of the fair folk.

Trick or treat
I know you guys have been waiting or some Halloween pics..... Kirby helped daddy carve the pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern.

Ted went to a party on Halloween where he got to hang out with the Miller Light guy!?!
I don't recognize who he is but he is apparently in the commercial.
The days in October have been beautiul this year, we had a few cold days to tease us all into geting out our winter clothes but it was only a tease, then back to mid 70's.
A few weeks ago we had a fun afternoon on the boat we packed a cooler and cruised the river. Kirby had a blast driving the boat and sitting up on the
engine and pointing out all the sights.
We hope to have a few more days like this before winter finally arrives.

Kirby walking in the parade with daddy.
Kirby picked out his golfer costume himself out of a catalog. We loved it. Well dad didn't like the hat so much:)
