has it really been since march????
I can't believe i haven't written anything since march!!!! I must apologize, i guess we have been busy this summer, between swim lessons, Mrs. Dana (Kirby's tutor) and a few little trips here and there I am looking forward for school to start next week!
Here is the condensed version of our summer.
Roe turned 3 with a family fiesta in the backyard. True to form Roe did not feel like eating any of the special food we prepared for him
but as you can see he is not starving, and it was his birthday so we decided to forgive him.
Baby Simms getting so big
Golf clubs
For TPC week we spent an entire week at one of our favorite vacation spots.....
Aunt Sandra, and Uncle Richie's Sawgrass home!
We have done a lot of lounging,
sleeping late,
watching cartoons
And I did a string of ceramics classes early in the summer
These are a few from our Noah's Ark Camp
My boys were all about being part of the clay classes so we let them do a few special projects.

Kirby Turns 6
Last year we did not have a birthday party for either boys. We were in the "thick of things" with Roe's food allergies etc, and i just didn't have the energy or feel safe throwing a birthday party.
This year Kirb. turned six and we decided to make it an all out BiRtHdAy BaSh!
For his real birthday weekend we went bowling with Uncle Wiley, had a fun family March birthday celebration at Gigi and Pops' house and Baba took us to dinner at Carrabbas.
The only part of the weekend that I photographed apparently was the bowling!
The following weekend Kirby celebrated his 6th birthday with his friends
The afternoon included Light-Saber duels

Revelers
This year Kirby was asked to participate in the Pagent for
Ye Mystic Revelers
He looked very handsome and did a great job up on the stage

Winter in Jacksonville
We have had probably a total of 8 cold days this winter and usually even if they start out cold sometime around 2 you will have shed off a layer or two and be in your t-shirt.
The best thing about having such a mild winter is that we have spent a lot of time outside.
We have loved having friends over to grill out and play in the back yard
We took a little adventure the other day down to the landing for lunch. After lunch we walked down the river walk to take a look at Shad Kahn's yacht.
Unbelievable!
And it was only $150 million!
goof ball
22 bedrooms
60 thousand gallons of gas
4 stories
A friend down the street gave the boys a ramp and they have loved playing in the backyard.... anything that rolls has been launched off the ramp, usually with either one or two Alexander boys flying along.
