2# 5 oz

Super Star!!!

That's right.... Roe gained 2 lbs 5 oz since December.  Yay, we are so excited, i have nothing bad to say about either of our appointments today except Roe's mommy should pay more attention to the rules.
I gave both Ted and my mom this big speech about not giving Roe any benadryl or allergy meds for TWO weeks before the much anticipated appointment this morning.
So can you guess who the IDIOT who gave Roe 1/4 tsp. Zyrtec Saturday night for his runny nose.
Yup.... it was me.
Soooo the allergy testing has been postponed until next Wednesday.
Besides that he has been put on oral steroids, and a Proton Pump Inhibitor.
All good happy news around here today. Thanks for your prayers.

What's happening around here

Kirby and his buddy Dylan had a great time playing last week.

We are hopeful that our appointment on Monday the doctors will say that Roe has gotten bigger, he certainly is feeling like he weighs a ton ;)
Things are good, I guess around here no news is good news these days.
We have had a beautiful couple of days to follow a icky few,  Kirby is a champ at riding without training wheels and can make it down the whole block without tipping or stopping.
I think i can speak for the entire Alexander family when i say we are ready for some boating weather.
And by the looks of the last day or two we may be going out this weekend!
Thanks to everybody for the continued prayer.

Mom-b's Birthday

Everyone who checks this blog to see pictures of the crump and roe may want to skip this post...... They were at home with the babysitter.
Ted and I wanted to enjoy ourselves without having to chase around two little rug rats.
This week my beautiful grand-ma "mom-b" celebrated her 90th birthday.
There were many friends
and family, there to help her celebrate.

uggh.. these sideways pictures!
My brother John and my adorable niece Margaret.
Who, by the way, was the HIT of the party.

1...2....3....Go

and off he went,  Kirby has taught himself to ride his bike.  Teddy took off the training wheels a while ago and i think Kirb just got tired of not being able to ride his bike,  so yesterday he got out the bike and after about 4 total hours of pure determination he took off down Ivanhoe.

Yay

Happy New Year

I am beyond frustrated trying to figure out WHY some of my pictures are not orienting the right way... if you can help PLEASE HELP!

Right side up or sideways we had a Wonderful time ringing in the  New Year with family and friends.  A few days after Christmas we all boarded "Ring Air" and headed to the Outer Banks.
Roe's first time flying..... Rock Star.

Are these kids spoiled or WHAT?  Ok, we are spoiled too but come on, how are we going to explain to them security checks, and STAYING in their seats.

And so the sideways pictures begin......... Kirby's first time seeing snow!

Baby Roe bundled up ready for a snow ball fight

Snow ball fight

We had the awesome opportunity to have breakfast with this fine gentleman and his Adorable son.
Does anybody out there recognize him?
Dennis Anderson!
Still stumped?
Ok well it's the GRAVEDIGGER himself.
Owner, manager, driver and mastermind behind the whole Gravedigger Team.
Known as the most influential monster truck of all times.

Ok back to snow play.

Cutie Lee

I am sad to report that the duck-hunters were not the only ones that saw every sunrise.  Baby Roe and i did too.  It was worth it. But Roe-Roe can't we sleep till 7 just one day?

New Years Eve Rummicube game.
Wild times!
Haha a far cry from the same crowd 5 years ago.
Poor Matt was sick, and Melissa didn't make an appearance due to the twins.
This was the prettiest sunrise by far.

New years day, exploring the property.

A wonderful trip.

December

We had a fun happy holiday beginning with the much anticipated "Breakfast with Santa"  Both Kirby and Roe were excited to meet the big guy, unlike so many of the hysterical pictures i saw this year of kids screaming in Santa's lap.

Kirby's class did the Christmas program at St Marks this year.  Kirby was a shepherd/robot as you may be able to see if you enlarge the lower picture of him and his fellow shepherds.
We hosted our second annual Christmas dinner and loved getting all these kiddies together.  We were sad that the Maynards and the Pieklos couldn't make it, but it is a tradition that we plan on keeping so we hope to see you guys next year!

********Christmas eve pics in next post***********
sorry i had some issues with the orientation of my Christmas eve pictures from mom-b's house so they will be in a separate post.

Kirby was sure to leave some cookies and milk for Santa and thank God that the Nightingales had delivered some delicious cookies or i may have been trying to convince Kirby that Santa would probably rather have a nutra-grain bar.
We were out of carrots so we left him some granola for the reindeer.
They love granola.
Santa brought the boys sleeping bags which they LOVED
We went to Baba's for a late breakfast, and were joined by Gigi and Pops.
It was a wonderful day.
