Memorial Day at Deer Crrek

We are so thankful to have such a great group of friends, Ted and I have been sitting here trying to figure out how long this Memorial Day tradition has been going on. We think this is the 9th year we have "celebrated" memorial day together. One huge difference this year..... KIDS!
All together there are 4 boys, three were born in the past year, Kirby is the "big boy".
What a fun weekend!

I took like a million pics, but this for some reason is the only one of Jacob, Lee, and Kirby.
Jacob chillin' with his "god-sister" sophie.

Kirby got a little piano instruction form Brad.

Kirby took this pic of me

Kirby wanted to hang at the pool "au-natural", daddy wasn't so happy with the idea :)

Ok, so some things never change..... We may be a little older, more mature (some of us), a bit more responsible...... but boys will be boys:)

Another Sunday at the Lake

This week we decided to invite a different crew out to the lake, we had so much fun we hope that they will all join us regularly
Jackson and Nathan
Noah
Jackson, Emsley, and Kirb Playing in momm's car to stay out of the rain.
What a cutie
kirb Flirting
Kirby is OBSESSED with "wateboarding" as he calls it, what should we have expected???? One of his first gifts brought to the hospital was a infant wakeboard lifejacket, and he spent his first summer working at wakeboard camp.
So this is where you will find him these days, standing behind th couch, handle in hand, "life jacket" on practicing his moves.

Swimming

Kirby is half way through his Six Week swim lessons! He should be able to swim by the begining of June. He is doing so great, he has already mastered floating and is a great kicker. He LOVES his lessons, mostly because he has a little crush. Mary (Marnee, as Kirby calls her) has the ten minte slot after kirb. You can see her in the last picture in the background. Very Cute!

Weady, Go!

Kirby and Dad ran through the sprinkles the other afternoon. Ted started it by saying "ready, set, go" after Ted runing and jumping over the sprinkler, Kirby was hooked.

Every few minutes he would yell "weady, go"
