Rainy Day

Sometimes we are looking for something fun and different to do on a rainy day.
One of Kirby's favorite things is to play with some of mommy's art stuff.

My dear friends Ray-Ray and Jon are expecting a little boy in November... a little thanksgiving baby!

I was so happy when they were able to come into town and stop by last week. Jon got to have a little practice with Roe. I should have had him change the poopy diaper!Isn't she beautiful, one of the hottest pregnant girls ever...... but what would you expect?

She also had to collect her goods because she was a contest winner on the mom-b blog.

The past few days kirby has been going outside to help dad with yard work and coming back looking like this!
Just can't stay away from those sprinklers.

A Tractor

So in a house full of boys it's no wonder that we are a little obsessed with tractors, and the fact that John and Anne have tractors at their work only deepens the obsession.
For a while, Ted has been looking for a riding lawn mower to try tackle our monstrous yard. A few months ago he got Uncle John looking and it didn't take long before Uncle John found the "perfect tractor" for dad. Any one who knows our uncle John knows exactly what to expect. John found this humongous thing but that's not all, it comes with "the cyclonic rake" and many other fun attachments, that only boys think are cool. A little overkill if you ask me but the boys around here have been walking around like kids in the candy store for a week. Even Uncle John who wants to start mowing our lawn for us now. :)

The Happiest Baby on the Block

Little Roe is indeed one of the happiest little fellas we've ever met. It's hard to believe he is already two months old.

I decided this morning to take a few "glamor shots" of our little guy.

Kirby of course had to get in most of the pics, and then you can't see Roe only Kirby's big head.

We spent a beautiful Independence Day this year, playing with family and friends.

We met up with John, Anne and the entire Cassidy crew up at the Yacht Club for some Fun pool games. This is "the great dive for beer" Uncle John front and center.... unfortunately came up empty handed.no fear, Kirby was able to grab oneJohn and Kirby's trophyThe news of the day was that Dick and Megan got engaged Friday night!

Kirby is always wanting to hold his brother, this could be trouble but it's sweet how much they already love each other after 8 short weeks. Kirby's affection for Roe is obvious, but Roe just lights up when kirb comes around. Even when it looks to us like kirby is smothering him with a huge hug, Roe usually has a big grin on his face.

I know this pic looks fake but anyone around last friday know it was way real.
