Chub Cay

We had the awesome opportunity to join some friends in the bahamas for 5 days, we had plenty of fun in the sun! Kirby got to ride on a plane for the second time, he was an old pro, he loved the
entire trip!

This is the Chub Cay Club from the plane.

We just got home from a week long Family Vacation in Gulf Shores Alabama. It was the Brent Family Reunion and it was the first time Kirby got to meet some his cousins. Pops has four sisters and between the five of them John, James and I have 10 first cousins and more second cousins than i can figure. Five of our first cousins were there and five little ones. I wish the whole family picture was taken with my camera but i was able to take two split pictures of the whole group.

The view from our condo, if you look you can see the oil rigs out in the gulf.

Kirby had a great time playing with all his second cousins at the lake Sunday for lunch.

We had all the family over to Gigi and Pop's condo for Dinner Monday night, the kids had a blast running around on the lawn.

Pops took all the boys to the Marine Corps Museum on Tuesday, SO COOL!

The whole week was a blast, but if you ask kirby he may tell you that his favorite part.... besides the airplanes... was getting Pops with the water balloons.

Thursday we decided to go check out a place called "the Hangout". Pops got Kirby a hula-hoop

... and a harmonica.

Memorial Day at Deer Crrek

We are so thankful to have such a great group of friends, Ted and I have been sitting here trying to figure out how long this Memorial Day tradition has been going on. We think this is the 9th year we have "celebrated" memorial day together. One huge difference this year..... KIDS!
All together there are 4 boys, three were born in the past year, Kirby is the "big boy".
What a fun weekend!

I took like a million pics, but this for some reason is the only one of Jacob, Lee, and Kirby.
Jacob chillin' with his "god-sister" sophie.

Kirby got a little piano instruction form Brad.

Kirby took this pic of me

Kirby wanted to hang at the pool "au-natural", daddy wasn't so happy with the idea :)

Ok, so some things never change..... We may be a little older, more mature (some of us), a bit more responsible...... but boys will be boys:)
