Silly Goose

Kirby received his first official "goose egg" today, he was getting a little crazy playing with Gator and whipped around and nailed his head on the leg of the table. He cried for maybe 3 minutes while everyone else panicked. Then he resumed regular play like nothing had happened. He is under close observation now but we think he will make it!

what not to do on a rainy day.....

okay, remember back to how much fun Chuckie Cheese was when you were little, the lights, the noise, the show.............pizza.

DO NOT GO! For anyone who reads this blog and may be considering taking their child, grandchild, nephew or neice. You may want to reconsider. First of all the parking lot was NOT full but apparentley either these people can fit 15 kids into each car or they walked....eeek.

as you can see kirby is not smiling in one picture, maybe that was because of all the bully's and their bully parents.
This girl REFUSED to get off the Monster truck after she ran out of tokens.

We had to PAY her (with tokens) to go away, and if you look close you will see that she is still attached to the truck on the other side.
Kirby was horrified of the show, which is nothing like we remembered.
DON'T GO!

Kirby the Party Animal

Kirby hosted another pool party in the backyard last Thursday. Lots of friends came and this time we did it in the afternoon so that the mommies could have a "mothers little helper".

Memorial Day at the Beach

We had a fun three day weekend. Saturday we went to Tripp Vogt's 2nd birthday bash. It was out in South Ponte Vedra, almost St. Augustine. Kirby had tons of fun and all sorts of frinds were there.

Saturday afternoon Kirby attended his first 40th birthdy party. Kirby was the perfect excuse for mom not to have to participate in "The Beer Olympics". Dad should have won a gold metal! Check out the picture of dad with Jeff Lageman. (Jacksonville Jaguar) And that's the birthday boy on the bike. We had a blast.

I decided on Sunday I would take the day off as far as being the photographer. But I couldn't resist snapping a few monday when we went to the beach with Wade and Courtney and Charlie and Sarah. Kirby's buddy is Evan Sandusky.

summer fun

OK, I know that the summer hasn't officially started, we haven't hit 90% yet. The days have been beautiful and we have been trying to keep busy. Our mornings have been spent going to either the zoo (surprise, surprise), the pool or the Kids campus at Metro Park, and each afternoon we have spent our time playing in the sprinklers or the baby pool in the back yard.

Kirby is SO busy it is hard to keep him contained to the playroom these days. My best bet has been to try my hardest to wear him out and hopefully he will nap and/or sleep at night.

Charleston

This week we went to Charleston with Gigi, Kirby loved playing golf on the lawn of our hotel.

This is the hotel where we stayed.
We took Kirby to the Charleston Children's museum, which was super cool, everything was interactive and kirby loved the water room and the art room the best.

Our hotel was part of an old plantation, Kirby loved visiting all the animals that lived on the plantation.
After a big week, we had a very sleepy baby.
