Counting down

We have a lot to look forward to in the next couple of weeks. Of course we have the on-going birthday celebration, which includes cupcakes at school tomorrow. Dinner at Baba's on Thursday, and a big Brent/ Olsen family cookout Sunday to celebrate a ton of March birthdays : Kirby, John, Biba, Baby Brent, Ray, and Me :)!
We have a bigger "Birth Day" that we all are anxiously awaiting, the birth of our little cousin, _____________ Brent. Leave a comment with your choice of sex and name :)
And then the final countdown, I have been waiting since December, only 4 more days until i get to meet this little guy. My Precious God-Son. Baby Mackie (as Kirby calls him)

Let's get this party started..............

Thursday March 4th Kirby will turn 4 years old. I really can't believe it. It has been the most fun 4 years of my life, i feel so blessed to have these two healthy boys!
We have a little guy who is obsessed with Monster Trucks, so we were very lucky that Kirby's birthday (week) coordinated with MONSTER JAM.
Saturday night the big trucks came to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium and we had front row seats! Well, not front row, better, a box!
We had a tailgate for the kids before the show. Turkey sandwiches, juice boxes, and cupcakes.
It was FREEZING, so they decided to eat literally on the tailgate.
Kirby's "date" haha, Daddy let him invite one friend, and who else would enjoy monster jam but his girl Emsley!
All the little boys, so excited, holding hands waiting for the elevator.
The Pledge
They were captivated.
Cotton candy at 9ish................... yr lucky it's yr birthday.

a second wind
We didn't get home until 10:30 and Kirb didn't get to bed until 11. I was hoping that he would sleep late but he was up promptly at 7:30 asking
"Mom, do you know what today is?"
"Ugggggggggggghhhhhh, Monster Truck Birthday Party."
So the party continues,
Abigail came and took millions of beautiful pics of all the kids, i can't thank her enough for her help and all the pics. This is just a preview she sent me. ^^^^^^
So you all may be seeing birthday pics again when i get the cute ones she took.
My beautiful sister (in-law)
It was a gorgeous day at Victory (lake) Speedway. Ted and i were up late last night talking about how great it all worked out. There were tons of huge ant piles when we got out there, but with about 50 guests not one sting. The wind was so bad when we were setting up, we lost all the balloons, i had to lay on the table in order to tape the tablecloth down. About 20 minutes before "showtime" the wind was so bad we decided to move the whole thing up the beach a little bit, Thank you Wade for your help. Well we got everything done, the wind died down and the kids had a blast.
God is good.

One worn out little monster truck fan.

Be Mine

We had an eventful Valentines weekend.
Beginning with a beautiful family wedding. Ted's first cousin, Sarah was married on Saturday afternoon to an awesome guy, John Hewett.
The wedding was beautiful. The ceremony and the reception were at "The Outpost", which is part of the Ponte Vedra Club. We LOVE the outpost! It is an old hunting lodge on the intercostal waterway. I wish I had taken more pictures there is a huge lawn covered with a mixture of palms and old oak trees. The setting is very rustic, and very old florida. This is where Ted and I had our reception 8 years ago.
A family tradition, this is the same cypress stump that we used as a cake stand at our wedding, we have lent it out to friends and family many times in the last 8 years. We loved that Sarah and John wanted to use it!

The Beautiful bride and groom.

Almost there!

I made Anne let me take some preggo pics of her belly yesterday, we can't wait to meet our little cousin!
Kirby wanted to say happy valentines to his cousin.

Feeling for a kick

best brothers

Happy Birthday Amy

Last Sunday we celebrated Amy's 219th birthday..... well those were some of the many candles Kirby put on her home made lemon pound cake.

Getting big!

Roe will be 9 months old in just a few days........... hard to believe. He is such a sweetie, and like his brother, into EVERYTHING!

Tennis Lessons

Kirby started tennis lessons a few weeks ago, it is a cute group of kids, ages 3+. These pictures are from Kirby's first day. He did AWESOME! I don't know if he really did as good as i thought he did, i may be a little bias since i am his momma, and biggest fan. Or it could be the fact that i am so -not sporty- that any athletic ability is extremely impressive to me.

I think it may be that he is just a tennis prodigy........... he's actually only been back one more time since this day due to a runny nose and rainy weather, so i will keep you updated on my little superstar.
